While some TV hosts might feel offended if Food Network downgraded their show’s time slot, Tabitha Brown brushes it off her shoulders. After the vegan cooking star was informed in August that her new show “It’s CompliPlated” was being moved from Thursday at 9 p.m. to Tuesday at 1 p.m., by Peopleshe took instagram to give him an honest response to the decision.
In a long, heartfelt caption, Brown first addressed her fans: “There is no business, there is no network, there is no person, place or something that will change who I am.” In her video, she looked genuinely happy and at peace with the decision, and she further explained, “I had to break down a lot of walls and barriers to gain access to my freedom! Walking proud and confident in my truth is still an everyday pursuit!! I’m not going to change!”
Brown expressed no ill will towards the network, but she made this pointed remark: “Thank you to all the partners I work with who really see me for me, I appreciate you! To those who don’t see me for me but only see me for their benefit, I SEE YOU!” Fellow chefs, TV stars and fans expressed their admiration for Brown’s positive attitude, with ‘Euphoria’ star Nika King summing up their feelings: “You didn’t get here not being you. -even!!! Keep doing Tab. We love you!!”
