What’s on the menu?
Clams in black bean sauce appears to be the house favorite. You
see it on practically every table when you walk in. I recommend trying
the porridge with sliced sturgeon or salted pork and preserved duck egg
over the usual side of steamed or fried rice. Can't really go wrong
with anything here though anything with frogs are out of the question for
this reviewer.
How’s the Service? It's quick which is all you can ask for while tipsy and hungry
at 2:30 in the morning.
What Else?
If you're feeling adventurous, try anything with salted fish.
A little piece goes a long way and fills your head with images of
stakes of skewered fish drying up in the sun with heaping amounts of sea
salt to keep them from rotting though you might suspect the effort wasn't
entirely successful.
