What’s on the menu? There's a variety of small dishes and
large meals on offer, including a great selection of salads and soups,
especially the going-to-be famous wild mushroom soup. The Octavia Lounge also boasts unique dishes like
New York steak served with savory blue cheese bread pudding or try the pork loin
with green beans and mashed sweet potatoes. There's a great variety of appetizers and small
plates available for late night eats such as hoi sin baby
back ribs, vegetable spring rolls, chicken skewers and french fries served with three delicious kinds
of dipping sauce. Enjoy specialty drinks and beer on tap as well.
Service: Service was fantastic; the servers were friendly
and fun loving, the bartender displayed his vast knowledge of
wine and spirits.
What to watch out for: The Octavia lounge has great
live music every night except Tuesdays when the restaraunt is
closed. Definately worth checking this place out if you're in Hayes Valley in San Francisco.
