LIVE Sushi Bar - it is exciting to see this San Francisco Sushi restaurant open and flourish in Potrero Hill neighborhood. Not only is it nice to have a new sushi restaurant in this up and coming section of San Francisco but it is also fun to see the excitement of the new owners. Serena and Kash, two sushi restaurant veterans (who also happen to be married) joined forces to start their own restaurant conveniently located across the street from a new apartment complex which should ensure a steady flow of patrons. What’s on the menu? sushi: fresh, delicious, a little more expensive than comparable sushi restaurants in San Francisco. I had the LIVE Sushi combo and it was good value with various pieces of nigiri sushi and a California roll. I also had the Rainbow roll and I was surprised that it had tempura shrimp inside...not sure if that was intentional but it was tasty none the less. I'll be sure to go back and visit and see their progress as they had only been open less than a month when I first visited.
