What's On the Menu? Italian Seafood How about the service? San Francisco has many great restaurants and we sampled a lot of them on our week there but Capurro's really stood out. The food was very good but the service was outstanding. They treated us so very well. We felt like celebrities - seriously. We had reservations (not usually needed) and they greeted us by name, ushered us right in, service was prompt, the manager introduced himself, the owner came out after seeing our order and advised us on something different. We felt like family and special all at once. This place is classy yet relaxed and totally appropriate for families. They had live string music going but it wasn't pretentious. There is a bar there too but its quit and offset. The view is nice too. The crab is a must and everything on the menu was great. This place is part of the many collection of restaurants down at Fisherman's Wharf and it is a bit of a walk to the west end (you almost feel like you are leaving the wharf) but don't let that put you off. Anything Else? Everything was great.
