What’s on the Menu? Serves breakfast, lunch &
dinner. Breakfast has a wide selection of egg based dishes served
with home fries & a choice of bread. Lunch has a full menu
with starters and entrees. The Entrée menu has a mixture
of pastas, panini and seafood + vegetables. Seafood is their specialty
and dishes such as shrimp pizza allow you something different
to try. Pasta sauces can be cooked to order if you ask. The Farfelle
Con Pollo, (sautéed chicken, roasted garlic, sundried tomatoes
& pistachios) typically comes with a white herb sauce which
can be interchanged with an Alfredo sauce for a creamier tasting
dish. The Panini’s served here are a hit with the Fisherman’s
Wharf working crowd, and for a couple of dollars more than a regular
hamburger, are quite a good alternative to regular fast food joints
that are served in this area of town.
Where to sit? Café Pescatore
has both an indoor booth style & table setting and an “on
street” patio area for dinners wanting an outdoor view.
On a sunny day you can’t beat the out door patio for dining.
Anything to watch out for? Don’t
expect a quick lunch. This is a sit down dining experience.
Service: Our waiters were friendly, performed their roll and described
the specials of the day.
