Barney's Gourmet Hamburgers is a San Francisco bay area burger staple. Barney's has received multiple awards over the almost 30 years its been in service (since 1978) from various newspapers, magazines and other sources. On my last visit there I ate their bacon cheese burger which was not be approved by my cholesterol counting doctor but it was well worth it. Barney's has multiple locations all over the bay area.
