Why is a grocery store on a San Francisco restaurant review website? Was this just written by the store owner to drum up some business? Is this some kind of April Fools thing? Am I just reviewing everything in town because I lost my job and got a prescription for medical marijuana at the same time?
These are all valid questions. Unless you’ve ever been to Arguello Super, in which case you wouldn’t even read this review because just seeing the name would start you running for the nearest mode of transportation that could get you to Arguello and McAllister, in the Inner Richmond, near to University of San Francisco (USF). If you are still reading this, I’ll reward you for making it this far by telling you where to get the BEST TURKEY SANDWICH EVER MADE. That place is Arguello Super.
They are located in the Inner Richmond neighborhood and they make the best turkey sandwich in San Francisco. They roast giant turkeys all day, give you the choice of white and dark meat, delicious breads, toppings, even cranberry sauce! There are other sandwiches here, but I nor anyone I know has ever tried them. I’m sure that any Arguello Super sandwich is delicious though. They have recently remodeled and have tons of new products and shelves, but the only real reason to go is for the best turkey sandwich in San Francisco. They do have a few tables to eat at, but I would suggest that you pick up a beer or some wine from their decent selection and go to the park (2 blocks away), Baker Beach, or even Ocean Beach and have a Thanksgiving picnic any day of the year! You might want to get a backup sandwich as the first one is not likely to make it all the way to your destination.
