Great place for Happy Hour. All drinks are $2 off and order anything on the "locals favorite menu" and get it for $3 off each dish. I like that you have options, too many happy hours are restricted to a couple of choices for drinks and appetizers. I had a glass of Gruner Veltliner, which wasn't the greatest and I have to admit my bf's cocktail was way too sweet, but I'm willing to give it another go. The ahi tartar was delicious and fresh, I'm often skeptical of this "over-played dish". Liked the plate of fried wonton wrappers that came on the side, not just one sticking out of your tartar mound. We also ordered the gorgonzola mac n' cheese, which was good, loved shoestring green apple pile on top, made up for some of the guilt.
It's a little loud, but there are plenty of spots to sit. The crowd is a bit boisterous and uninhibited, while we were there a free-spirited girl kept leaning over the bar giving everyone behind her a full on view for several minutes on several occasions of her underwear. She didn't seem to mind, however it was definitely not good for the appetite. Psst...If you are an oenophile Mondays are 1/2 priced bottles of wine.
